Somehow it felt appropriate to post this photo. It was actually taken a few years back when we were still living in the Kootenays. It’s a picture of my old back fence with a pile of snow. That’s a 3ft fence, so you get an idea of the snowfall.

Every time around this part of the year, I get really thankful of where I am. It’s warm, and it may be raining, but flower are blooming and spring is officially here.

No snow, winter jackets are too warm, and a warm south wind has the ocean lapping up against the shore. It couldn’t possibly get better.
